A request usually starts with the job to be done: refresh endpoints, add firewall capacity, replace backup storage, or license software. LCG writes that need down, then prices comparable options through the channels we actually have. Fortinet commercial quotes go through our Engage Partner relationship and D&H account. Lenovo gear is sourced through distributors while Partner Hub training continues. IBM conversations use Partner Portal enrollment and completed watsonx, Guardium, and API Connect sales foundations.

Three quotes, written so a buyer can compare them

Many Texas cities, counties, and school purchasing offices ask for more than one price before they buy. LCG can assemble a side-by-side package: the specification, two or three comparable configurations, unit pricing we can support, lead time, and the distributor or vendor path behind each line. The package supports a purchasing decision. Performed work is listed only after LCG has delivered it.

CMBL-aware, without inventing awards

Texas state agencies often expect bidders to understand the Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) and the commodity codes attached to a solicitation. LCG prepares quote packages with that purchasing context in mind: legal name, UEI RP1XYZMDYGC7, CAGE 13ZA3, NAICS, and a clear description of what is being offered. CMBL status, cooperative contracts, and past awards are included only when they already apply to that solicitation. If a buy requires a specific contract vehicle, the quote states whether LCG can respond directly or needs a distribution path.
